On 14-15 April 2015, the second meeting of the Task Force Genetics was kindly hosted by the Austrian Institute of Technology (Tulln, Austria). Over 22 members from 11 countries participated in the meeting.
All participants presented their experiences and results from the genetic analysis of the population in their countries. The first day we discussed about the SSRs (simple sequence repeat), next generation sequencing and sampling strategies for population analysis. The next day participants presented the own results from different projects. In a round table we discussed the development, evaluation and comparison of data from ragweed population generated in the different countries.
